Every month Goodnight Press brings CAESURA to Edinburgh, an incendiary and eclectic night celebrating the spoken word in its many forms. CAESURA began in March 2012 in the basement of Café Renroc.
Since then we have moved to The White Horse on the Canongate and in 2013 found a home in The Artisan Bar in Abbeyhill. CAESURA has been honoured to host an array of incredible writers including Peter Manson, Kevin Cadwallender, Martin Belk, Dorothy Alexander, Ryan Van Winkle, Jow Lindsay, nick-e melville and Alan Gillis (full list to be found in past events). In July 2012 CAESURA #5 was the first show & tell night of experimental and conceptual poetry and visuals featuring a one-off exhibition of visual poetry with printed and projected works and live readings.
CAESURA is currently held on the second Friday of the month from 7pm at The Artisan Bar, London Road, Edinburgh. Entry by donation. Click here for forthcoming events. Or here for past events.
