CAESURA #2 will see Martin Belk grace the stage, giving our ears a verbal slap and tickle with a monologue. Martin is an author, editor of ONE Magazine, collaborator with the mighty John Calder – publisher of Burroughs, Beckett, Trocchi and many, many incredible writers, including 17 Nobel Prize winners – and associate of the Prague Writers’ Festival. This year’s festival ran from the 14th – 18th and featured Emil Hakl, author of the great ‘Of Kids and Parents’ (I’m convinced when I bought this book the title was ‘Of Sons and Fathers’, an updated translation or the ineptitude of my memory parading about in public again?) and Pulitzer prize winner Junot Diaz, who can be see in conversation with Martin Belk below:

CONSCIOUS ROUTE
Rapper, poet, singer and song writer born in London, grew up near Cambridge before moving to Edinburgh where he is now based. Conscious Route is a man of many means you can catch him living up the area with his live band or moonlighting on various solo and collaborative projects with CCF collective. Recently put out 2 E.p with Werd from S.O.S. This dude will not be pigeon-holed: expect the unexpected poetry ryhme and maybe a rap at the time.
